OVER THE SALT LAKE TO TOZEUR

This afternoon, we left our hotel at Douz and travelled over the great salt lake “Chott El Jerid” to Tozeur. On a safe dam, that is – legends go that in the 14th century, a complete caravan with over 1000 animals and their cameleers disappeared there.
