First flights of the year… #2

Our second flight this year turned out to be quite a long distance flight again! Taking off near Seeg (Füssen area) with Thomas’ Kubicek eXtreme Racer, we made it to Kirchweidach southwest of Burgkirchen, less than ten kilometers west of the Austrian border.

Within 3:40 hours of flight, we covered a distance of over 160 kilometers… and even made it into the local newspapers with a wicked ascent (8,8 m/s!) over the town of Tacherting! :-)
