GERMAN GAS BALLOON CHAMPIONS!

This weekend, it was the German National Championship for gas balloons in Gersthofen! The Freiballonverein Augsburg organised the competition in challenging conditions, as the weather proved to be quite unstable.

Nevertheless, two flights with three tasks each could be made, and after our Coupe Aéronautique Gordon Bennett title from last year, we can now proudly call us the new German National Champions! =)

The podium:
1. Benedict Munz & Matthias Schlegel: 5202 points
2. Sebastian & Willi Eimers: 4183 points
3. Martin & Florian Schwingenstein: 4156 points

Shoutout to all the busy supporters from the Freiballonverein Augsburg and the Ballonsportgruppe Stuttgart e.V. – you rock! :-)
