KIELER WOCHE 2026
What an incredible week! 14 flights for us at the ‘Kieler Woche’ this year, and 12 in a row – #eatsleepflyrepeat at its finest! =)
We have indeed been spoiled with the ‘Kieler Woche Balloon Sail’ in the past years. While in the earlier years of the festival, it was common to have two, three, maybe four flights, we often hit eight or nine after 2020. For this 20th edition, luck was definitely with us: Finest summer weather allowed 16 flights in total, of which we only missed two.
The tough schedule (we wouldn’t have wanted anything else, though!) allowed for not much else than eating, sleeping and ballooning, so we didn’t see a lot of the ‘Kieler Woche’ sailing event itself. But if you are that lucky, you just have to fly fly fly! ;-)
