FROM GERMANY TO ITALY – AGAIN! :-)

On February 15th, we managed an amazing flight over the Alps to Italy with two balloons! :-) Taking off at Bad Feilnbach near Rosenheim, we soon hit the speedy winds in FL170 and enjoyed a magnificent colourful morning sky. We had a terrific view of the Dolomites with the rising sun in our back, while the front arriving from the west could already be spotted in the distance.

All to soon, the laguna of Venice appeared, glittering in the sunlight, and after a nice descent, we found ourselves slightly east of the big triangle of the river beds of Cellina and Meduna, where we landed in between a lot of vineyards. Guess what we had for lunch… ;-)
