INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CAMP 2018

The 18th edition of the famous International Youth Camp was held in Burgkirchen on the site of the Freiballonclub Salzach-Inn e.V. – and after a pause of three years, I joined the camp again for some days to support the crews and fly one of the gas balloons. 35 participants from 10 countries in the age of 15 to 25 years were present – a really great troupe.

And what a fantastic time we had! =) A visit to the world’s longest castle at Burghausen, a funny night glow, five balloon flights (two of them with two gas balloons), swimming at a lake, a great guitar evening at the campfire and an interesting day at the aviation museum at Oberschleissheim… you might well ask yourself if we did catch any sleep at all, and you wouldn’t be too wrong with this question! ;-)
