In the last days of August, we spent a wonderful long weekend at the airfield Landshut-Ellermühle with our friends from Slovenia – luckily, we started our weekend on Wednesday already, as on the weekend itself, only one flight was possible. So, we could do four flights altogether and still had enough time to sing around the campfire in the evenings! :-)
Matthias was lucky enough to fly four different balloons these days – the Slovenian 2200m³ S5-OHN “Lindi” on Wednesday evening, his new Aerostar Aurora 1530m³ D-OWLB on Thursday evening, his 3000m³ D-OSBK on Friday morning and the 1200m³ G-CCAY cloudhopper on Saturday evening. What a weekend! =)
A LIFE OF BALLOONING
The passion of a lifetime: To behold the stunning beauty of our world like no one else, free like a bird, high in the sky, yet one with nature, using the oldest principle of flight known to man: Lighter than air.
No wings, no noise, no pressure… just serenity, just perfect bliss. At one with the elements… at one with yourself.
