FROM STUTTGART TO LAKE CONSTANCE

The second flight of the new gas balloon of the Ballonsportgruppe Stuttgart e.V. led us towards Lake Constance – with a nice intermediate landing near Hechingen, the place of the famous Castle Hohenzollern.

The decision for this flight was quite an interesting one – because several weather models showed quite a thick cloud layer, which wasn’t really correct – on the contrary, the clouds deteriorated the more we flew south, and in the end, we could spot many known places through the broken ceiling.

The landing took place near Geisingen, close to the motorway A81, which helped a lot to get home easily after this nice little adventure. What a great day! :-)
