TODI, PART THREE

In the meantime, all balloon teams have returned home safely from the Italian International Balloon Grand Prix. Making our ways back to our everyday lives, our minds and hearts stay in the skies above Umbria, still dreaming of the wonderful times we had.

Altogether, we spent over 15 hours in the air over the beautiful countryside with our Kubicek Balloons 2000m³ BB20E. The lightweight fabric proved exceptionally well, even under rough conditions. A huge thank you to Thomas Köck from Kubicek Balloons Deutschland for entrusting your little balloon to us!

More thanks go out to all the people who have made this holiday happen. First of all Ralph Shaw who never gave up believing that this edition of the Sagrantino Cup would take place. Ralph’s team mates Richard Shaw & Co. who were always great help with organisation and refueling. The towns of Todi and Gualdo Cattaneo and all the agriturismos, cantinas and vineyards sponsoring the event.

My most awesome team Ruth, Louise & Tommie – I haven’t laughed this much in months! :-D
All the other balloon teams from the UK, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Italy and Germany – you have brightened the skies over Umbria for us, and for all the people there.

And last but not least YOU, our loyal fans – thanks to you, our impressions from Todi have been shared all over the world. Our photos and videos from the event have reached over 20.000 people, and hopefully brightened their days as well.
