ITALIAN INTERNATIONAL BALLOON GRAND PRIX

With just one night at home in between, we continued our summer trip from France to Italy to fly at the ‘Sagrantino Cup’ at Todi, just as the years before… and again, the relaxed holiday meet in Umbria didn’t disappoint! Seven beautiful flights, five in the Todi and two in the Bastardo area, hot summer weather and nice evening events made the ten days go by so fast. Certainly one of our highlights this year… I mean just look at the pictures! =)

Even more astounding is the fact that we did all the flights without a retrieve, every time finding another team who was friendly enough to take one of us back to the launch site to pick up our car. Two times, a pilot who did a shorter flight took our car along after his return, and one time a crew gave us a lift fitting even our balloon in their trailer! So thank you Team Strasmann, Himke & Dominik from H2 ballooning, Jörg von der Burg, Monica & Petr Kubicek and of course Amelie & Louise :-)
