WHITSUN YOUTH CAMP 2023

For the first time in four years, we had a successful Whitsun Youth Camp with the Ballonsportgruppe Stuttgart e.V. again! The last one had been in 2019 at Seeg, Allgäu, while the ones in 2020 and 2021 had to be cancelled. In 2022, the camp was held but no flights were possible due to bad weather, so we were really stoked to fly again!

This year, we had chosen the surroundings of the town of Horb am Neckar, where the Neckarballon-Cup had been held several times, and where we were warmly welcomed by the local balloon club, who allowed us to use their launch site as our camp site and take off field. Thank you Ballonsportgruppe Horb e.V.!

We were also very lucky with the weather and flew four out of six possible slots – we could have done all of them, but a nice farewell barbecue and singing around the campfire as well as sleeping in the next and final morning were equally important to us ;-)
