On Saturday evening, the weather situation was quite similar to the morning… but with a cold front and some thunderstorms approaching, we closely monitored the radar pictures on the internet, and finally decided not to fly.
For the teams who launched early and landed early, everything was fine, but some balloons stayed aloft quite long, having to face a wet and speedy landing later on. One don’t need every flight at Chambley… ;-)
