This weekend, it was the German National Championship for gas balloons in Gersthofen! The Freiballonverein Augsburg organised the competition in challenging conditions, as the weather proved to be quite unstable. Over the 1st of May, we went to Burgkirchen with a team ot the Ballonsportgruppe Stuttgart e.V. – and thanks to the generous hospitality of the local Freiballonclub Salzach-Inn, we could enjoy two wonderful gas balloon flights! Good times =) [...]

Usually, the Spring Festival Flight at Stuttgart takes off at the famous “Cannstatter Wasen” – but due to windspeed and direction, that was not possible this year. We had to divert to the glider plane airstrip of Löchgau, but fun we had nevertheless! :-) [...]
