We are looking for a little gas balloon basket to improve our equipment! Needs to be from Ballonbau Wörner GmbH for proper certification. Sleeping flap & size 4 mandatory, sports edition (lightweight) optional. Maybe you know somebody who knows somebody who…? ;-) Thank you Bob B. for allowing us to use your photos :-) [...]
Last weekend, during our annual visit to Kubicek Balloons, we had the pleasure to attend “Poslední Kříž” – the so-called ‘last cross’ in the Czech balloon competition year. Although the sun hid behind a thick layer of clouds, it was a funny flight – not to forget the party afterwards at Balónový Hotel Radesin! [...]
The odds were not really in our favour for a Gordon Bennett training flight last week – but we did it nevertheless. As the new gas balloon of the Ballonsportgruppe Stuttgart e.V. is not yet registered, the Freiballonverein Augsburg was friendly enough to charter us their D-OFVA – a huge thankyou for that guys! :-) [...]
Another lovely autumn weekend lies behind us, and we’re enjoying this season to the fullest! =) Saturday brought a wonderful flight from Eglofs to Seeg with friends – thank you Bavaria Ballonfahrten for the balloon, Ballonfreunde Allgäu for the launch site, Daniela for the organisation and Christian for a perfect retrieve! ;-) [...]
Yesterday, our friends from GT Ballonfahrten visited us to pick up their new basket from Kubicek Balloons Deutschland and to do a proficiency check flight for their pilots with their all new Gasometer Pforzheim balloon. The scenery couldn’t have been better…! :-) [...]
On Friday, October 4th, it was time for the first Alpine Crossing of the season! Wonderful warm weather, a nice direction and perfect ATC made it a fantastic opening for the 19/20 winter. A very special moment for me was when we fly over the lovely Val Sarentino between Vipiteno and Bolzano: Having spent many [...]

Hopes were high, as the last edition of the event back in 2017 had just been fantastic, but the weather obviously had a different opinion about it. Strong winds and rain showers made us skip most [...]
The passion of a lifetime: To behold the stunning beauty of our world like no one else, free like a bird, high in the sky, yet one with nature, using the oldest principle of flight known to man: Lighter than air.
No wings, no noise, no pressure… just serenity, just perfect bliss. At one with the elements… at one with yourself.
This is why we live A LIFE OF BALLOONING.
